You can travel from Normandy to La Rochelle by bike, via the Pays de la Loire following the 'Vélo Francette' itinerary . The 'Loire à Vélo' cycle route takes you all along the Loire River passing the Châteaux de la Loire. The 'Vélodyssée' is a coastal trail starting in Brittany, crossing the Pays de la Loire and ending in the Pays Basque.
