An open-air artistic trail along the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire estuary .

29 artworks are spread along the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire estuary. Renowned contemporary artists found along the 60 kilometre stretch between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire were invited to explore the estuary and create works of art inspired by the experience. The artworks interact with the countryside, the environment and the history of the landscape that frames them.

One of the well-known artists on display is French painter and sculptor Daniel Buren, whose luminous rings mark the entrance to Nantes’ fashionable Hangar à Bananes.
