The 'Auberge La Fontaine aux Bretons ' is an idyllic hotel located in the pretty harbour town of Pornic on the Atlantic coast. 

In your room or apartment, you will find all you'd expect from a 'home-away-from-home'. Perfect for families, there is a kitchenette to prepare meals, a television and a balcony.

There is plenty to do without leaving the property, from relaxing by the pool to visiting the gardens and farm. A privileged few can use the private 'pêcherie' – a traditional fishing hut on stilts opening out onto the sea. 

The farm and the gardens are so much more than just a pleasant diversion as they are part of the sustainable environment of the complex and are used to supply the kitchens and restaurant. There is even a vineyard, producing about 5000 bottles a year. The commitment is to all things green: renewable energy, recycling and local produce which resulted in the site being awarded the European Eco-label.
