The Océarium in Le Croisic is a real under water observatory.

In the nursery you will meet young rays and baby lobsters. Through the microscope you can watch larvae and plankton. Walk through the underwater tunnel and enter another world! Discover sharks, groupers and winged rays swimming quietly around you. After admiring the many species of the Atlantic Ocean, go with the tide and follow the jellyfish ballet. The penguins are always popular, especially at dinner time and you are invited to watch! Face your fears as you encounter the amazing Australian sharks swimming in a 1 million litre tank. Stop by the 'Vancouver island' exhibit and discover Northwest Pacific fish with their strange shapes and wonderful colours. Then head for the Tropics with species from the red and the Caribbean seas at 'The Lagoon'. To end your visit check-out 'The Cyclades' where groupers, moray eels and scorpion fish from the Mediterranean sea weave back and forth between rocky shore and amphoras.
