Terragora Lodges is a unique eco-concept where the design is so organic it looks like it grew out of the landscape. The vision came from a competition for schools of architecture to create rooms inspired by 'animal habitats'. 

The first impression is an idyllic, undulating landscape and, as you look more closely, structures appear through the vegetation; a giant chrysalis of copper, wood and zinc hanging from a tree, a lunar shape like a mud igloo seems to pop-up from the ground and cabins on stilts sit in harmony with the environment. 

The structures are built almost entirely of natural materials and 70% of the hot water on-site is generated by wood stoves and traditional fireplaces.

The cabins are well-equipped and live comfortably on the 45 acres site which is a designated wildlife reserve. There is a large central hub with a restaurant, library and lounge, which is open all year round to residents and the general public.
