The Mare aux Oiseaux hotel , is a rural retreat with a difference in an idyllic location within the Brière Regional Natural Park in the Loire-Atlantique

The owner, Eric Guérin, is a Michelin-starred chef. He uses the finest local produce and creates dishes that are a delight to both the palate and the eye. His hotel is designed to blend into its 'bird pond' environment and provides a window onto nature. It is intimate with just 15 fresh and contemporary rooms, you can even stay in a cabin on stilts.

In the Brière National Regional Park, the landscape is dotted with thatched cottages, their roofs made from the reeds from the local marshes.
