There is an exceptional wooded environment and 20 km of safe, gently sloping beaches with lifeguards to watch over you while you play. Although it is a child-friendly place, there's plenty for adults too: golf, thalassotherapy, fishing, bike rides or picnics beneath the pine trees give perfect opportunities to create memorable holiday moments!
Try sand yachting at La Barre-de-Monts, Saint-Jean-de-Monts or Notre-Dame-de-Monts. Miles of flat beaches provide the setting for the little known sport of ‘sand yachting’. Buggies with kites glide across the beaches. Where there are inland marshes, there is a constant breeze and, even when it’s anti-cyclonic, the sails still catch the wind.

Rent a bike or bring your own! One of the best ways to get around is on a bike - there are fantastic, safe cycling routes and all with gorgeous views!
