The Vélodyssée, along the Atlantic coastline 20.06.2012

It is now possible to follow the route from Roscoff in Brittany to Hendaye in the Pays Basque.

The itinerary covers more than 1200 kms of designated cycling routes, making it the longest in France. 80% of this bike is road-way running through 10 coastal districts of France with the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. The Pays de la Loire ‘Vélodyssée’ trail runs from north to south along the Canal from Nantes to Brest. Crossing at Nantes before the estuary part of the Loire, the cycle paths lead all the way to the Vendée coast.
