Since last summer, the Bateaux Nantais cruise boat association and the Vignes de Nantes winemakers association have been offering wine-themed dinner cruises on the River Erdre.

Starting and finishing in Nantes, the menus on these gourmet evenings have been specially designed by Jean-François Moreau, the chef for the Bateaux Nantais. Members of the Vignes de Nantes select their best wines; the winemakers are on board to talk about their crisp, white wines. It all adds up to a memorable experience that includes glorious views of the floodlit chateaux and manor houses that dot the banks of the River Erdre.
