The ‘Bouffay’ quarter is bursting with restaurants and a walk down its streets allows you to savour the aromas before making your choice.
If you are thinking of trying to replicate some of the delicious meals you have tasted, there are several markets where you can buy all the ingredients you need. Check-out the Talensac markets every weekend and we guarantee you will be spoilt for choice.
So you’ve got water, history, beautiful buildings, amazing exhibits and tantalised taste buds, but what about ….shopping? You will not be disappointed! Those in the know ‘Crebillon’ on the weekend. The Crebillon street is so well known for shopping that its name has become a verb (Crebilloner) for one of our favourite pastimes, retail therapy! Here you will find an abundance of French and international brand names. For those looking to browse designers in a funky environment try ‘Manny’ on the île. This treasure trove resembles a nest (the French call it ‘Le Nid’) a perfect perch for all you magpies out there.
