The Zoo at Les Sables-d’Olonne is a new type of zoo which combines respect for the environment (by protecting its exotic biodiversity) with making its visitors aware of good eco-citizenship.

Located near the heart of Les Sables-d’Olonne, the Zoo is a 22 acre haven of greenery nestling by the Vendee coast. The zoo shelters around 280 animals and more than 40 threatened species.
