Other Leisure Parks in Pays de la Loire 11.05.2013

Can you have too many châteaux, vineyards, historic monuments and beaches? Well, you know what kids are like! If you are looking to keep them occupied, there are many places in the region that provide 'boredom therapy'.

Take 'Holly Park' in Maine et Loire, for example. This is an easily navigable amusement park with fair rides, a bouncy castle and a restaurant and café for when you fancy a break. It's close to the lovely town of Baugé, so the trade-off is a cultural fix for adults.

In the Vendée, try 'Le Château des Aventuriers' at Château de la Guinardière. This interactive park lets kids play pirates, journey round the world and discover the dinosaurs, and parents can sneak in a tour of the castle. It really is fun for all the family!

Leave Dad at the 24 hour circuit in Le Mans and try 'Papéa Park'. You can drive a vintage car, cuddle the animals, play 'Cowboys and Indians' and win prizes in the Western road. Then take some refreshment in the salon, take a ride on the 'enchanted' river or ride the train. Thrill-seekers can try the 'wild' rides including a log flume guaranteeing a good soaking. Water-babies can toboggan down the water park slides, while parents can chill on the loungers in the sun!

'Les Naudières' in Loire-Atlantique is fun for all the family. There is mini-golf, an assault course, trampolines, a roller coaster, pedaloes, rope bridges to climb and much more!

One thing's for sure: You'll never be bored in Pays de la Loire!
